I’m super excited to talk to you today about the top Video Marketing Trends I’m seeing for 2017. I want to get you ready to take 2017 on with these incredible video trends that you need to know. So let’s get into it.
1st some pretty amazing stats for video in 2017. Did ya know, that on mobile alone, more 18-49 year olds watched YouTube in primetime than the top 10 TV shows combined! It’s probably time for you to start thinking of your potential clients phone as a personalized TV made just for them.
The Forrester Marketing group surveyed businesses and found that when marketers included a marketing or explainer video in an email, the click-through rate increased by 200% to 300%. It gets even better Syndacast an internet marketing company in Asia stated that by simply including the word “video” in an email subject line. Boost open rates by 19%, Boost click-through rates by 65% and Reduce unsubscribes by 26%. Here’s a little hint, when adding your video link in your email to have your subscribers click through, add a play button in your picture. It will entice them to click through even more.
So what can you do to harness Video’s power for your organization? Let’s talk about a 3 powerful trends that are happening for 2017
1st is Facebook Video. Facebook is investing heavily in video, and so if you’re not utilizing a Facebook Video ad campaign, you’re really missing out. On Facebook you can specifically target people you want to do business with right on their Facebook wall. Not to mention, once you get all those new fans with you campaign, you can speak right to all your followers utilizing Facebook Live.
2nd is Video Resources for Sales Teams. Consumers and Business are doing more research into the company or person they want to do business with. Think about it from your perspective and how do you make purchases or investments. You do your research. Video helps tremendously with perceived value. Why you ask? because you can specifically show how what and why you do what you do affects and changes someone’s life for the better. It’s vitally imperative that your Sales team or person has Video Content tools to market with. Focus on creating a series of videos for your sales team so they can use those videos to drive your potential client down the sales funnel.
And this leads to the 3rd trend and that is the rise of Infotainment… Yes, you heard right. It’s infotainment, it’s not longer expectable to just make a video that tells what you do. You have to tell a story of how what and Why you do affects and changes someone’s life or business for the better.
